Day 68. I've just come back from a 2 hour night photo shoot, so I would have liked to post some of those shots as my daily create but they are still on the "big camera" and I can't transfer them at the moment. So today's create will be another kaleidoscope image, created with yet another kaleidoscope app, this one us called Kaleidoscope. Surprise! It works much like the others, but has a few cool features. I like the neon effects of the lines.
I arranged three instances of the final kaleidoscope I made in a three panel Diptic frame, then applied filters from within Diptic to make then a little different to each other. I'm trying to use the basic artistic principle of unity versus diversity. The same but different. Repetition without regularity.

064 - Collide a Scope
Day 64. More mandalas today. These were made with an iPad app called TumbleVision, which is basically a simulated kaleidoscope app. After generating a few samples I used Diptic to arrange them in a 2x2 grid like this. Simples!

047 - Ornamentality
Day 47. These pretty mandala designs were made with an iPad app called iOrnament. It lets you create symmetrical patterns with amazing sophistication, especially if you splurge out for the 99c in-app purchase to unlock the extra features. I created one basic round mandala design then applied some randomising effects to it, to create the four variations you see here. All four of these design variations are based the same basic pattern.
Once I made all four of them I arranged them in this 4-up grid design using another app called Diptic, which can arrange multiple images in a single framed picture.

024 - A Mandala for Mandela
Day 24. The world recently said goodbye to the late great ex-president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Just because I enjoy verbal and visual puns, I've created a mandala - a circular patterned design - out of flower images to look like a floral wreath, around Mr Mandela's portrait.
The mandala design was created using an iPad app called Mixala. Portrait of Mandela was found using Google Images.
