270 - Eastern Suburbs

Day 270. I found these satellite images on Google Earth. These are aerial shots of some of Sydney's most well known beaches... Bondi, Bronte, Maroubra and Tamarama. Dropped into Diptic and arranged for today's daily create.

118 - Feeling Manly

Day 118: Yesterday afternoon we went for a drive up to Manly with a friend visiting from California. Although it wasn't the nicest weather for a beach visit, it provided a chance to make this Photosphere image using my Nexus 5.

This is actually a full 360 degree photo panorama, although it doesn't show here on Blogger. However, if you click the image itself and you will be taken to the full thing on Google+.

018 - Fun in the Sun

Day 18. With the very hot weather that we're experiencing in Sydney at the moment we decided to head down to Boat Harbour at Cronulla for a morning swim. It was a beautiful summer day, and the nice thing about Boat Harbour is that you can drive right onto the sand if you have an AWD vehicle.

While we were there I took the GoPro out and shot some fun footage, then edited it later back at home using Final Cut Pro X. Nothing too fancy, I'm just trying to get my head around the workflows in Final Cut.  So this is my creative project for today.

PS: To my Canadian friends who are suffering through yet another Arctic blast at the moment, if you think I'm making these videos in a shameless and transparent attempt to get you to come and visit us down under, you're absolutely correct. :-)  What are you waiting for?

010 - Create at the Beach

Day 10, and we started with a visit to the beach this morning where I took a few photos by the shore. This one was shot and (over?)processed using SnapSeed on my Nexus 4.
