317 - Making Mo

Day 317. Coincidentally, the day after my daughter Kate sent me a link to the video she helped make (yesterday's create) I got an email from my son Alex sharing a video that he made with his friends to promote Movember. Again, I'm cheating a little listing here as a Daily Create but again I'm going to claim a DNA level connection to their creativity. That's my story.

This video was made by Alex using Breaking Bad as the theme. I've not watched Breaking Bad so a lot of the references went over my head, but I'm just impressed with the film anyway. Alex is studying law so I'm pretty amazed at his filmmaking skills.

003 - Instagram Collages

Day 3 of the Daily Create challenge. My son Alex has spent the last 7 months travelling around the world, and will be home at the end of the month. As a belated Christmas gift I went through his Instagram photos and used some of my favourites to make him a series of collages using InDesign.  I still need to get them framed, but I think they'll look good when they are behind glass.

PS: These are supposed to be a surprise for Alex so you might think it odd that I'm posting it online... but I'm 99.99999% sure he doesn't read anything I put online.  Regardless, keep this to yourself ok? ;-)
